That's easy! I like a few tacos de panza, a tostada de pescado, and an icy cold Lone Star to wash it down with.

My go-to summer beers are Bell's Oberon and 3 Floyd's Gumballhead. Both are crisp but full of flavor and pair well with most beer foods. I tend to stick to lighter and colder foods in the summer. Salads at lunch, something like the beef jerky from paulina meat market paired with a watermelon and feta salad.
also, my equadorian sister-in-law has gotten me hooked on elote. it's corn on the cob rolled in butter, mayo, chilies, mexican parmesan (i can't remember the name) and finished with a squeeze of lime. perfect with either beers.

I love Wheat Beers, Three Floyds Gumballhead, and Rolling Rock. Anything Grilled is my fave on a Patio.

I'm a big fan of the New Holland Full Circle, a kolsch-style lager - bright, sunny, and refreshing

Goose Island IPA India Pale Ale $6 is on our Prairie Fire beer menu is perfect for hot weather sipping on the patio.
I think it would go great with a spicy mix of summer peppers with melted cheese and crumbled bacon maybe add s some bitter greens that are cooked down in bacon fat. (can't wait for summer peppers).

I've given this answer before for a similar question, but for me, there is no match for an ice cold Grolsch in a flip top bottle. The reason for this is so specific. As a 21 year old waiter at a TGI Fridays in Hackensack, NJ I used to have to work occassional lunch shifts. After busting my butt and making exactly 15% from these Coldwell Banker types in their suits and ties (they NEVER tipped the men more than 15%) I would sit outside on the patio with my fellow employees and flip the porcelain top off that ornate green bottle and put my feet up. When you're 21 you often don't have to do anything else for the rest of the day so you can drink at 2pm. to this day, I am always chasing that very first sip of frigid beer on a beautiful day with no responsibilities. And, although I know the answer to the food part of this question should be something light and fresh like a fruit salsa, for me it's the opposite. If I'm having this cold beer outside, I crave fried anything. Fried Mushrooms, Potato Skins, salty Fried Green Beans...and a nap.
