I love Pret a Manger, it's great for fast food in London that is actually real food. I hope they put one at O'Hare.

London put the h in hip, so I think that Chicago being on their international radar is a good thing. Hum is planning on launching in London in 2011 so equal, fair trade :)

It would be fun to get a great walk-up spot in Chicago for Fish & Chips.

None, Zero. Zilch. National chains are pestilence enough, now we have international chains? I suppose the captains of Industry look forward to one day seeing all the same restaurants in London, Chicago, and Peoria. I will take local character over transnational ambition 100% of the time.
