Chef Carl Thorne-Thomsen and Cultivate Kansas City invite you to dine with special guest, Mark Bittman. Author and acclaimed food writer for the New York Times, Mark Bittman is the featured keynote speaker for the 2013 Urban Grown Farms & Gardens Tour. in Kansas City.

$125 ticket price includes a four-course meal, including wine pairings, featuring seasonal food from local farms at Story, an intimate and elegant, upscale neighborhood restaurant serving fresh, local, seasonal creative American cuisine with Spanish, French and Italian influences.  The dinner will be held Friday, June 21st,

Story chef and proprietor, Carl Thorne-Thomsen is FOOD & WINE magazine's 2013 winner for The People's Best New Chef: Midwest and is a 2013 James Beard semifinalist nominee for Best Chef Midwest. Story was named to OpenTable's list of top 100 American fare restaurants in the United States and has won a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence.
