Ice Cream Day
Ice cream is my favorite thing to make! I'm always doing flavors with seasonal ingredients. I just made corn ice cream, I think I'm gonna serve it with zucchini cake. I still love doing ice cream sandwiches and individual baked Alaskas. I also have been doing sundaes, like vanilla ice cream with raspberry-chocolate sauce and salted fudge brownies.
Isn’t that the third Sunday in July? Wasn’t that yesterday?
We are working on a few ice cream dishes for our restaurant. We want the food to be reminiscant of when we all sat on the front stoop of house in the city.

Our Version of the Drumstick Ice Cream Cone that you would get from the Ice Cream Man:
white chocolate and curry dipped vanilla ice cream cone with honey and seasalt toasted peanut
Oh man! Black Dog made the greatest Vanilla-Bean & Bacon flavored Gelato so we put a scoop of it on our new Fried Peach Pie dessert. It's so great. Seeing is believing my friends.
Right now were making hominy ice cream for a cornbread dessert. The plate consists of a cream curd similar to the curd you would find at the top of a good bottle of milk, dolce de leche, sweet corn bread, hominy ice cream with a touch of sea salt. Now that corn is fully coming into season the dish is really coming together.
