Holiday Event: December 31, 2011
Chicagoans looking for a spirited night of revelry are invited to The Gage, where our team will keep the celebration going until the early hours of January 1! Pricing for dinner at The Gage on New Year's Eve will be a la carte, allowing diners to enjoy their favorite dishes from The Gage's full dinner menu or try something new with one of Executive Chef Dirk Flanigan's specialties for the evening, which will include Grilled Quail Salad, with endive, truffle and egg yolk ($18) and Roasted Australian Lamb Loin with walnut emulsion, toasted cashew-pistachio crunch, kale, white soy and ginger jus ($34), among others. Sommelier Shebnem Ince will also be on-hand to present suggested pairings for the evening's toasts, such as Scarpetto "Timido" Rose ($12/glass or $45/bottle) and 8oz carafes of "Party Wine" such as Ayres Pinot Noir Willamette Valley 2009 ($18). Reservations are highly recommended, available from 5-11pm, and can be made by calling (312) 372-4243.
