THREE ACES presents the 1st Annual Halloween Bash and Pumpkin Smash
A Halloween Party with a smashing twist

Three Aces is throwing a Halloween bash, complete with a monster mash and pumpkin smash. It’s a no cover Halloween party, with Sailor Jerry specialty cocktails, pumpkin beers, delicious pies, and a new twist, the pumpkin smash. In celebration of Navy Day, grab a hammer and smash some pumpkins (think Gallagher) for charity.

No Halloween bash is complete without specialty cocktails and pumpkin beers. With the help of Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum, Three Aces will be serving up a fresh Pumpkin Smash cocktails made with real pumpkin, fresh lemon, Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum, and fresh nutmeg. Or enjoy a Midnight Marauder made with Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum, San Emelio Plum Sherry, fresh lime and Ginger beer. We have all your favorite Pumpkin beers on tap, including Southern Tier Pumking, Smuttynose Pumpkin Ale, Green bush Unicorn Killer, and Bombers of Jolly Pumpkin La Parcela.

Three Aces is located at 1321 W. Taylor Street in the heart of Little Italy. The Halloween Bash and Pumpkin Smash is Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 9:00 p.m. Pumpkin smashing, while supplies available, runs until midnight.

THREE ACES WANTS A BLACKOUT!
A specialty menu featuring the darkest food and drinks of the season

The sun is setting early, the sky is grey, and Halloween is around the corner, it’s the darkest time of year and Three Aces is celebrating; with a BLACKOUT. Help us welcome the darkness, rock and roll style, with a specialty menu featuring the darkest of ingredients, paired with the blackest of beers, ink-colored cocktails, low lights, and wicked metal music. Bring on the BLACKOUT!

Executive chef Matt Troost has created a limited edition menu featuring the darkest of seasonal ingredients. Sample BLACKOUT menu items include: Arancini made with squid ink risotto, mint, and bolognese sauce; Mussels steamed in black beer, served with boudin noir, butternut squash, and chili de arbol; and Duck Breast with beluga lentils, confit cipollinis and black kale.

No specialty menu is complete without the perfect drink pairing. Ask for a “dark traveler” made with Journeyman Rye, Graham’s 20-year tawny, and black walnut bitters. Or sample any of the following BLACKOUT beers: Allagash Black, Breckenridge Vanilla Porter, Ska Brewing Mole Stout, Uinta Black Lager, or Great Divides Oak aged Yeti Russian imperial stout.

Three Aces is located at 1321 W. Taylor Street in the heart of Little Italy. The BLACKOUT begins on Monday, October 22, 2012 and the special menu runs through November 4, 2012. The menu will only be available for dinner starting at 4:00 p.m. through 11:00 p.m.

Menu News: August 3, 2012

Updated summer menu

Really pushing the seasonal veggies hard right now on many new dishes from the corn chowder gnocchi to the simply fried shishito peppers. Though the farms aren't getting very much water and a lot of crops are suffering the products we are getting are superb. Think: sweet bi-color corn, fire roasted peppers, summer squash, green zucchini, and those amazing juicy heirloom tomatoes. It's summertime and the living's easy... Easy and tasty.
