twisted coffee cake at Three Aces

twisted coffee cake ($9)
Coffee cake was the first thing my mom ever taught me to bake. my dad was a minister so every sunday before church i would get up and make coffee cake with my mom. eventually i would make it myself when i was old enough. now, it's on the brunch menu at aces, in twisted form, with roasted grapes and saba. it's a large thick slice that is good for one but great to share.
Pairing: dark matter's unicorn blood which we serve french press style
