Q: Share your origin story. Where were you born?
I was born in Chicago on the northwest side of the city.
Q: Did you move around a lot growing up, or did you generally stay in one place?
I stayed pretty much on the northwest side of Chicago
Q: When you were young, what did you want to be when you grew up?

Dishwasher and before I was 16 I used to walk ponies in corrals at fall events
Q: Did you know you were going into the hospitality industry when you were in high school?
I was already working at restaurants
Q: When in school, what besides cooking were your academic interests?
Baseball, Chemistry
Q: How many languages do you speak? Which ones?
I speak English a little Italian and Spanish
