My nickname growing up was Ripper. Sometimes extended to Jack the Ripper.
I was in cooking class in grade 8 and I was being a smart ass in the back of the class when the my teacher called me out. She asked if I knew how to cook and would I like to teach the class. My response was yes I am a regular Jack the Ripper (I meant to say Jack Tripper from Threes Company him being a chef and all) Well as you can imagine the class laughed out loud and the teacher sent me to the Principles office. Moving forward my name was Jack the Ripper from then on shortened to The Ripper most of the time. Most people I knew did not even know my name was Jason, friends parents would see my parents and say how is Jack have not seen him for a while....At parties when a certain song would come on by Judas Priest called the Ripper everyone would sing out loud and it became my theme song growing up.....
