I was born to a military family of one other child in Heidelberg, in what was then, West Germany. We moved back to the states when I was two to Kentucky/Tennessee. I lived there until I was going into first grade, at which time we moved to San Antonio, Texas. We lived there for about four and a half years before my dad came down with orders to move back to Germany. We were stationed in Hohenfels, but due to the tiny size of the post we had to live in Regensburg out on the normal German economy with only a few other American families around us. It was amazing to me. When I was 12 my family moved back to Tennessee. I lived there until I was 22 at which time i moved to Chicago.
