Let's face it. Some "innovational" kitchen tools are just plain useless. What do you think are the most overrated and unnecessary kitchen tools?

ugh! sometimes i'll have a big day and if i have enough time i'll try and make it to bed bath and beyond - walk through the kitchen section of a store to see what ridiculous kitchen tools have come out...
here are my top 5 favourite, in no particular order:
1. that avocado thing that slices and takes it out of the skin at the same time
2. that corn zipper thing that makes take the kernals off the cob easier - my advice: use a knife, lol
3. a quesadilla maker - similar to a george foreman grill in that you plug it in and it has a nonstick surface, however, it is literally shaped like a tortilla that is portioned out to triangles
4. all those funny shaped whisks...or regular whisks with funny things inside - like a small stone ball inside a small whisk ball inside the actual whisk
5. ONION GOGGLES - wtf, right? lol

I once saw and add for an egg cracker. Nobody needs a gadget to help crack eggs.
Other useless tools are things like a cupcake corer, avocado slicer, garlic peeler . . . .

Bagel slicers, for sure. Get a good knife for chrissake and learn how to use it! Do you really eat that many bagels anyway? Also, those pump-action choppers are a horror.
