I try to instill a serious work ethic in the people that work for me. To me working hard is the most important thing.I have always felt hard work will trump talent, at least in my case.We also try hard to have an atmosphere of respect and dignity, to treat people the way we want to be treated, helps to keep it not so stressful. I don't want my employees to walk on eggshells around us. I think when you have this sort of atmosphere it is more conducive to learning, We also talk about food & wine each and everyday. Most pre shift meetings we taste food or wine. If the employees feel how passionate we are about food & wine maybe it will rub off?
