Q: You've just been afforded a seat on the next shuttle launch into space (roll with us, here). If you could make your own space-safe dehydrated food product to bring along, what would it be?
BBQ chicken and broccoli casserole!
Q: You're culinary Superman. If you could have any culinary super power, what would it be (e.g. the ability to temper chocolate in the blink of an eye, break down a whole hog telepathically, conjure white truffle oil with your fingertips)?
It would be to be able to teach my wife how to cook! if i could have the superpower to get her intersted in cooking it would be fantastic!!
Q: You're gifted with the budget for your dream kitchen. What would it look like?
It would have built in power washers. A glassed in kitchen table that all the walls were dry erase. A cat walk above the kitchen for kitchen tours. A butchering cooler with fish cabinets, whole animal hanging areas. all retractable heat lamps throughout. A massive cheese cave with all the cheese and butter making equipment.
Q: Who says staging is just for aspiring cooks? If you could stage with any legendary chef, living or dead, who would it be, and why?
Thats a tough one. I would still have to say El Bulli year 5. This was one of those places that started a food reveloution for our generation. There are many others that were the same for their time but for me this is something i always wanted to do but was never was able to..
