Holidays: How Food Figures in For You

Did your family have a food-related essential tradition for Christmas Eve and/or Christmas Day? Do you have any now? Are they the same or different?

We would have a big Christmas Eve meal, open presents, then make it to midnight mass. I think we had this ritual so we could sleep in on Christmas Day. We're still figuring out our rituals as we're trying to make Christmas special for our young kids.

On Christmas Eve, we always ate dinner after church and then it was time to open presents. Christmas morning was time to open more presents and have a nice brunch.
